GBSL is a recreational house league, which means that we only
play teams within our own organization, and we do not travel to play teams in
other organizations.
There are six age groups: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12,
13-15 and 16-18. Boys are assigned to age groups based on their birth date.
Boys CANNOT
be moved to a different age group on account of skill, experience, size,
transportation needs, or any other factor. Boys who are registered in the
wrong age group will be moved to the correct age group before team rosters are
determined.
There are no try-outs required for GBSL, and any boy who lives
in the Town of Greece, New York (USA), may join by filling out a registration
form and paying the registration fee (provided we have enough teams
available). Registration reminder post-cards are sent directly to boys who played in the the
league during the previous year. The registration

All of the members of the
Executive Board of GBSL, and all of the Coaches, are
VOLUNTEERS. There are no paid employees in the League.
